Capsule Hotel Asahi Plaza Shinsaibashi, a beloved establishment in the heart of Osaka, is reopening after a 3-year hiatus due to COVID-19. Featuring retro-modern spaces with authentic sauna and bath facilities, we provide a perfect “Totonoeru” relaxation experience.
We are currently in a pre-opening period, offering special rates for accommodation experiences. After the grand opening scheduled for April 2025, we will welcome guests as a hotel that caters to business, tourism, and long-term stays. With an excellent location just 5 minutes’ walk from Namba and Shinsaibashi stations, we offer affordable pricing and a nostalgic accommodation experience.
As the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo approaches, we will serve as a base to accommodate accommodation demand from around the world. DIRECTIONS
- 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station (Osaka Metro Midosuji Line)
Exit from Exit 7 and head south, passing through Crysta Nagahori, then head west. The hotel is on your right as you head towards Amerikamura. - 7-minute walk from Namba Station
Walk 7 minutes north from Namba Station. Pass along the east side of Takashimaya and proceed towards Amerikamura. The hotel is on your left after passing the Nishi-Shinsaibashi intersection. - About 50 minutes by train from Kansai International Airport
About 40 minutes from the airport to Namba Station on the Nankai Electric Railway, then a 7-minute walk. Alternatively, about 65 minutes to JR Osaka Station, then about 5 minutes to Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, followed by a 5-minute walk from the station. - About 30 minutes by bus from Osaka International Airport (Itami)
Take a limousine bus from the airport to “Namba” or “Osaka Station” and then come to the hotel using the routes above.

FAQ
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00 the following day. 24-hour front desk service is available, so we can accommodate late-night check-ins.
The sauna and bath facilities are available from 15:00 to 9:45.
Currently, only men can use the facilities, but we are considering expanding the women’s area in the future.
The hotel does not have a dedicated parking lot, but you can use nearby paid parking facilities.
Guests staying in capsules are free to leave the building. However, guests are not allowed to leave the building in their hotel clothes.
We provide complimentary loungewear (top and bottom) to all guests. Please wear the loungewear within the facility.
We provide a face towel and bath towel free of charge.
